| Great Driver! Was originally a white car - now 1966 Trophy Blue. Paint in great condition - very few hairline cracks. The car was restored about 10 years ago - body off. numbers matching motor is original to car. the enigne was not overhauled at time of restoration. Some notes on the car in no particular order:
There is no weather stripping on the doors at all. It was never re-applied after the car was painted. The door jambs are very clean.
Car has the original windshield its in good shape. No damage or cracks.
Motor is original to the car. Dont know the tag ID off hand, but the car and engine are early production runs. They were made in September of 1964. I somehow remember 9.11.64 as being a date of production.
There is no jack, but there is a tire carrier ( there is a pic)
All gauges/instruments work including blinders/radio/etc. the fan is not currently turning on for the heater dont know why as I have not looked into it, but it worked well when I bought the car. Could be a fuse.
There is a small oil drip.
There was body work done to the car on the drivers front quarter. Its fairly minor, but if you feel for it under the quarter panel you will notice. There is minor indication of the work as the paint has a slight variation in it in one spot near the headlight.
I know that the frame had two half dollar size welds as repair when it was restored I couldnt tell you where they are.
The power antenna works
There is a seam tear on the passenger seat fairly minor
There is a small tear on the drivers armrest about Ύ long. Its a linear seam opening, hardly noticeable, but its there. There is no pic here of that.
There is a hard top as well painted trophy blue. It is in nice shape glass is good. It could use weatherstripping as well.
All chrome is in nice shape.
Tires are correct for car great shape
Hub caps are in great shape
There is no rot on this car! The frame and body are very solid. The steel cage within the body is in great shape as well.
Headlights work well opening and closing
The engine runs well. Ive had the car for 6 years. I thought I would drive in the summers, but my boat has really become my summer hobby and the car has been hardly driven. Odometer says 43,000 on it, but who really knows. There is one plug that fouls every once in a while. I just take it out and replace it with a dry one when needed.
