Goldwood Yellow exterior, Black interior, Black convertible top. 240hp 350ci GM crate engine (original numbers matching 250hp 327ci engine also included), 4 speed manual transmission. This 1965 Corvette Convertible has a very straight body, and is in very original condition. Paint on this car is in fair condition; trim tag is missing. Convertible top is also fair, although it does not appear to have any major rips or tears. Original chrome bumpers are in good condition, not showing any rust or dings, as are the original chrome exterior door handles. Judging by the hardware present on the tonneau cover, this car more than likely was originally equipped with an auxiliary hardtop. Although the original top probably found its way onto another car years ago, a hardtop can be added for an additional fee. Please see a salesman for details. Weatherstripping is somewhat dry, but intact on the doors. Taillights show normal cracking. This 1965 Corvette Convertible currently wears a set of black painted steel wheels in fair condition, with a set of BF Goodrich Premier Touring blackwall tires showing approximately 75% treadlife remaining and no dry-rotting. The interior of this car is just as original as the outside, with original seat covers, door panels, carpet, gauges, seatbelts, center console, and steering wheel. All of these items are in fair original condition. A cassette player has been added in the original location, and features the "Corvette" nameplate. A Hurst shifter has also been added to this car. The engine compartment of this 1965 Corvette Convertible shows a premium Optima Blue Top battery, and an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake. A Weber carburetor currently delivers the fuel for this vehicle. Although a GM crate engine currently resides in this engine bay, the original, numbers matching 250hp 327ci engine is also included, and can be rebuilt if this car is to be set back to stock.
