Paint is very good on this car, with a brilliant shine, having just been wetsanded and buffed. This paint looks to be recent, and has few imperfections. Convertible top is a few years old, and the window is starting to show some age. Chrome bumpers are brand new, and in are in excellent condition. Chrome exterior door handles are very nice also, showing strong return springs and no major finish issues. Weatherstripping appears to be original, but is mostly intact. This 1972 Corvette Convertible wears a set of rally wheels, which are in good condition with good condition trim rings and center caps. A set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letter tires are mounted, and appear to be brand new with full tread. Taillights are excellent with no apparent cracking. Much of the interior on this car looks to be original, including the seat covers, steering wheel, door panels, seatbelts, AM/FM radio, and possibly the carpet as well. All of these items are in good, presentable condition. Gauges show little to no fading and relatively clear lenses. This 1972 Corvette Convertible is one of VERY FEW KNOWN TO EXIST with the late 1972-only 3970014 engine casting number! Many sources list this as a "mystery block", making this Corvette even more special! Both the exhaust manifolds and intake on this engine show correct casting numbers as well.
