Numbers matching 220hp L82 350ci engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Family owned for years and originally sold new just a few miles from us at Camp Chevrolet on September 6, 1979, this Pace Car has just 1,089 original miles! Body build date shows April 11, 1978. This car appears to have original paint, which is now showing some minor stress cracks in the usual places. Weatherstripping is all intact, and just as soft as when it left the factory! Taillights are near perfect with no chips or cracking. Hood decal is very nice, not showing any cracks or fading. Chrome door handles are in good original condition and function well. This car still wears its ORIGINAL TIRES which show NO signs of dry-rotting, and still have about 85% tread on them. The polished Pace Car wheels are in great shape and are complete with correct lug nuts and center caps. Interior in this car is immaculate; seat covers show hardly any wear, and the steering wheel cover is nearly perfect. Carpet is bright and free from wear, as are the door panels. Dash pad is in great shape with no cracks. Seatbelts are excellent also with intact factory labels. Original AM/FM stereo 8 track radio is still in place! The engine compartment in this Pace Car is very original, right down to the alternator. Ignition shielding is in place, and this car still features original hose clamps in most places. A/C compressor is correct original style. Many of this car's original documents will be included with the sale, including the window sticker (showing some water damage), build sheet, bill of sale, vehicle warranty information, battery warranty, blower motor operation info, VIN labels for warranty work, dealer inspections, dealer keychain, service records w/mileage, and owner's manual. A Hayne's repair manual is also included, as is Doug Roe's Rochester Carburetor book, which is undeniably the best source on Quadrajet service and repair. A new GM upper radiator hose is included as well. Original features on this car include AM/FM stereo 8 track, glass t-tops, rear defrost, air conditioning, sport mirrors, cruise control, L82 engine, tilt-n-tele, aluminum wheels, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, power antenna. 1K.
