Porter Automotive Group, founded by John F Porter Sr. in 1925, was one of the first Chevrolet/Buick dealerships to be established in the United States. The Porter family has owned several dealerships representing multiple franchises in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida. Cory Porter, began working at the dealerships in 1986, and currently operates the day-to-day business. Cory is the fourth generation of Porters to run the dealership. His father, Rick, ran the business for more than thirty years and was largely responsible for the expansion of the company.
