| Description – 1982 Corvette Collector Edition For Sale
This 1982 Corvette Collector Edition is one of 6,759 produced that year. It is the real deal with 85,000 original miles. The last of the C3 series and last year for the classic Sting Ray or “ Shark” body type. It was a one owner until my wife inherited it. Always garage kept. It has been restored to its new and original appearance with a new and recent factory paint job complete with gradient stripping. A gorgeous “silver beige” metallic finish. The interior has been restored to original also with all new carpet and original multi color electric leather bucket seats. The T Tops are new with the silver mirror finish. A new wind shield has also been installed so the view of the road is crystal clear. It has frosty air conditioning, power steering and new brakes. A Corvette company out of Maitland Fl. (near Orlando) called Burke Corvettes restored many parts on the underside such as shocks, brakes, trailer arms, exhaust system, many seals and more. The engine (350) and tyranny are in excellent condition. It has cross fire fuel injection, runs and shifts like new. It has a new CD player and radio. Windows and mirrors are electric. The tires are Goodyear w/ raise white lettering on Collector Edition Alloy wheels. The Collector Edition Hatchback Coupe carried a special VIN number and was the first Corvette with a base price exceeding $20,000 making it one of the most expensive Third Generation Corvettes ever produced. Of course all numbers match. Also there is no rust on the underside which was told to us by the people doing the work. This car was a fair weather car. It needs a new loving owner.
