Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition. The Corvette is as American as apple pie. With over 60 years of production and eight design changes the Corvette has withstood the test of time. In 1953 the first Corvette rolled off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car in history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine Corvette rolled of the assembly line in 2020.
This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition is painted in "Silver Beige" or "Champagne" depending on who you ask. Dark brown graphics, a special set of turbine-vane alloy wheels, and bronze tinted glass T-Tops define the collector's package. The matching leather silver-beige comes with all the goodies including leather seating, leather wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power driver's seat, opening rear glass, tilt/ telescopic steering wheel, rear defogger, and an AM/FM radio. Under the hood is a 350 Crossfire Injection System V-8 consisting of two throttle bodies. Attached to a 700-R4 automatic transmission. Only 6,754 of these1982 Collector's Editions were made, making this Corvette a very desirable classic car.
