Actually, this car is a 1978 Corvette that was professionally converted into a convertible many years ago. I have listed it in the 1975 year classification because anyone who is looking for a C3 convertible is not going to look in 1978. So the car is a 1978, converted into a convertible with a Greenwood wide body. It is in excellent condition with no accidents. The odometer shows less than 20,000 miles, but I do not trust it as this car had a few owners before me. When the custom work was done, the owner must have been a resident of Florida. This car has an Assigned Identification Number issued by the DMV of Florida. Apparently under Florida law at the time, converting a hardtop vehicle to a convertible required a new VIN number from the state DMV to register the car. The car found its way to Connecticut. It went through at least a couple owners there, as I saw it listed on eBay two different times years ago. I bought it from the last Connecticut owner 16 years ago. This car is a blast to drive. It has a 350 with automatic, true dual exhaust with functioning side pipes that are loud. It runs very strong. It needs a new top, new window regulators, and some weather stripping. The interior has some signs of age. The real magic of this car is that it is a convertible with Greenwood body, and these are rare. It is always photographed a lot at every car show.
