The iconic design of the 1958 Corvette is one of reasons this C1 Vette remains so popular today. That unique “washboard-hood” plus the dual headlights and chrome trunk spears certainly chronicle those early times.

Yes, this Corvette has been frame-off restored to judging standards. It retains nearly all of its original components such as body panels, glass, bumpers, trim, fasteners, wheels, engine, transmission, differential, frame, etc.

The original engine (283c.i.) is rated at 230hp. It’s mated to an original 3-speed manual transmission.

Other features include: Auxiliary hardtop. Soft Top, AM Radio. Two-tone exterior paint. Only 756 Corvettes that year were painted Red with white coves.

The ride, handling, and performance give testimonial to the technology of those early Corvettes. It is great fun to drive.

1958 Convertible - Silver/Blue 58 in excellent condition

Silver/Blue with Black interior: 350 / 4-speed manual - 4500 miles

Welcome to THE VETTE NET - Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network - a place where enthusiasts can list and present their cars to the world.

The 1958 Corvette holds a special place in the heart of collectors and enthusiasts alike due to its unique, one-years only look, a result of the first major redesign since its introduction in 1953.

Our offer comes from long time Corvette fan in Florida who was his care-taker since 2017... First thing he did then, was to install a new 350 GM crate engine casting #10066036 (Targetmaster/Goodwrench) with a Performer Aluminum intake, which likely puts out 250-300 HP. According to the seller it has only 4-5K miles and it performs as it should. It is mated with a 4-speed T-10 manual transmission which could be original. Engine compartment looks very nicely detailed with a new Aluminum radiator keeping cool in Florida sun. Heater is not present, other than that, it looks nice and correct under the hood. Ignition was upgraded and is connected to the functional tachometer.

Interior looks fresh and correct: all gauges, instruments, horn, etc.are fully functional. It has a working aftermarket Corvette radio, also the clock was upgraded to Quartz mechanism and works just fine.

The strongest attribute of the car is its correct Silver/Blue paint which is in exquisite condition, literally flawless. Chrome is in excellent condition too, also, the weatherstripping looks fresh and correct. Seat covers, dash cover, carpet, door panels all look like new. The White Convertible soft top looks new and is fully functional.

Check out the pictures and the video of the undercarriage which pretty much speak for themselves. It appears all correct and nicely detailed, with a new exhaust installed by its actual owner. Car has very civilized road manners and can be driven anywhere. It is maintained regularly and needs nothing... other that the wiper mechanism to be addressed.

Car comes from an enthusiast in FLORIDA and can be shipped nationwide and all over the world. Financing options are provided, also, Corvette trades may be considered.
