We replaced both front brake calipers, 4 brake hoses, brake pads, selector seal, trailing arm bushings, leaf spring rubbers, and much more. The previous owners in VA, GA, and MS have done all kinds of fun upgrades to this corvette including rebuilding the engine .30 over with 7 quart oil pan, upgraded cam, pistons, Holley carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and much more. They also installed a TCI 700R4 transmission, rebuilt the rear end with 3.08 gears, ceramic coated headers, dual exhaust, turbo mufflers, composite rear spring, front and rear shocks, power steering pump, power steering hoses, power steering cylinder, power steering control valve, aluminum radiator and fans, adjustable strut rods, brake calipers, brake rotors, master cylinder, proportioning valve, front suspension rebuilt, leather seats, carpet set, and much more over the years. In hopes of further honoring Corvette this year, Chevrolet had reached out to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and negotiated for Corvette to serve as the pace car for the 1978 running of the Indianapolis 500. This provided Chevrolet an incredible opportunity to showcase not only Corvette’s one of a kind look, but also its impressive performance.
