Details
This classic C3 Corvette features its original, numbers-matching L48/350 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. With 96,141 miles showing on the dash and a title marked mileage exempt, it’s a great example of a well-maintained and thoughtfully upgraded vintage Corvette. The car has been repainted and features a clean smoke leather interior that adds to its classic appeal.
Loaded with factory options, this Corvette comes equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, and tilt & telescopic steering column. It also includes air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, rally wheels, dual exhaust, and original components such as the ignition shielding and air cleaner assembly.
We recently changed the oil and filter, checked and lubed the chassis, and replaced several key components, including the trailing arm bushings, leaf spring rubbers, and fan clutch.
The previous owner invested over $7,000 in restoration and upgrades. Highlights of the work include a full transmission rebuild, engine reseal, and replacement of the distributor, harmonic balancer, and weatherstripping. The interior was refreshed with new seat covers, upper dash, door panels, and a complete carpet set. The suspension and steering systems were also rebuilt with new control arm bushings, sway bar links, strut rods, and a rebuilt power steering control valve and cylinder. Additionally, a new master cylinder, radiator, front shocks, and dual exhaust system were installed.
With all of these updates, this Corvette is not just a classic — it’s a car that’s meant to be driven and enjoyed. It offers a strong blend of originality, performance, and comfort, making it an ideal choice for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
1977 was the last year for the short back window in a corvette. GM only produced 5,967 Light Blue Vettes in 1977.
