In 1953 the first Corvette rolled off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car in history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine Corvette rolled of the assembly line in 2020. This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition is painted in striking "Silver Beige" or "Champagne" as a one year only color scheme. Dark brown graphics, a special set of turbine-vane alloy wheels, and bronze tinted glass T-Tops define this unique collector's package. The inviting interior comes with silver-beige leather seating and all the high-end options including a leather wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power driver's seat, opening rear glass, tilt/ telescopic steering wheel, rear defogger, and an AM/FM radio. Under the hood of this beauty is a 350 Crossfire Injection System V-8 consisting of two throttle bodies, attached to a 700-R4 automatic transmission.
