The 1982 model marked the end of the 3rd generation of Corvettes which debuted in 1968. It features a unique power train, the Cross-fire Fuel Injection engine mated only with the 4-speed Automatic transmission, the first year since 1955 when there was no manual available. To mark the end of this era, Chevrolet released a "Collector's Edition" series with unique paint scheme, interior and, for the first time, a rear hatch with glass opening allowing access to rear area. This edition had also unique Bronze colored glass T-Tops.
Our offer today is a fine example of a Collector's Edition series with decent miles (86K) and in great condition. It recently went through a rejuvenation process : injectors cleaned, one replaced, new engine gaskets and seals, new transmission seal, new starter, new front brake calipers (rebuilt). Engine performs as it should, transmission shifts properly.
Power seat works, power mirrors work, power windows work, all gauges and instruments are functional, AC blows cold, vacuum operated headlight perform as they should.
Check out the beautiful paint in great condition, correct Bronze glass T-Tops, original interior in beautiful condition with no rips or tears. Has an aftermarket radio, but the original factory radio comes with the car, also the specific keys, as seen in the pictures.
