Originally assembled on May 26, 1970, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1970 Corvette LS5 454/390hp is tank sticker documented, features some great options, and is in nice condition as well. Odometer currently reads 19,609 miles; however, we are unable to document actual miles on this car, so it will be sold as "MILEAGE EXEMPT". This car's paint is vg, looking to be newer, with a great shine. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers and exterior door handles show a vg finish, and taillights are exc, and weatherstripping and luggage rack are vg-exc. Rally wheels, trim rings, and center caps are all vg-exc, and BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires show an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1970 Corvette LS5 454/390hp shows exc leather seats and dash pad, vg-exc door panels, vg carpet and steering wheel, good-vg gauges, and good condition GM seatbelts. Custom Auto Sound digital AM/FM/Cassette stereo has taken the place of the factory radio. The numbers matching LS5 engine in this car shows original casting date November 5, 1969, and final assembly date April 15, 1970. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, ignition shielding, valve covers, a/c compressor, radiator hoses, and hose clamps are all in place, and the engine has been nicely detailed. Other additions to this car include a washable air filter, electric headlight motor conversion, aluminum radiator, fan shroud with White "CORVETTE" lettering, and chrome alternator/master cylinder cap/water outlet. Frame is clean, solid, and rust-free. Included with this car will be a tank sticker, and records and receipts dating back to 1988, with extensive receipts between 2021-22. GM only released 4,910 with the 350/350Hp engine and 6,648 convertibles out of 17,316 total production in 1970.
