The 1978 model was the most redesigned Corvette in ten years and was also honored to be the official Pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The pace cars had their own vehicle identification number to eliminate cloning. The body lines of the C3 Corvette are accented in this case by the classic two-tone Silver on Gray color option. This Vette is easy on the eyes and the car has been restored to a high quality (at great expense, might we add!). Everything from bumpers to seals, lights and decals were replaced on the exterior to bring the factory look back. The L82 engine was rated at 185hp when sold new and is mated to a close ratio 4 speed transmission feeding a posi-traction differential. Aluminum wheels with B.F.
