1965 Coupe - 1965 Glen Green Corvette FI Coupe
Glen Green with Black interior: L84 / 4-speed manual - 207 miles
Glen Green w/Black interior, L84 327/375hp, 4-speed manual transmission. The 1965 Corvette, an iconic milestone in the history of American performance cars, embodies the perfect blend of engineering evolution and pure driving pleasure. This stunning example, finished in the rare Glen Green exterior with a sleek black interior, is a tribute to the Corvette’s pioneering spirit. Under the hood lies the powerful L84 327/375hp engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission—a combination that not only delivers thrilling performance but also showcases the raw power of one of the most celebrated small-block engines of its time. 1965 was a landmark year for Corvette. It marked the debut of the legendary big-block engine with the introduction of the 396ci, though this would be the last time it was offered in a Corvette. It was also the first year to feature 4-wheel disc brakes, a major leap in performance and safety that would set the standard for future generations. But perhaps the most bittersweet aspect of the ’65 model year was the end of the line for Corvette’s fuel injection system, a feature that had been the epitome of European exoticism in American muscle cars. With only 771 fuel-injected Corvettes produced in 1965, this rare and exceptional model holds a unique place in Corvette history. This meticulously restored Corvette shines with breathtaking authenticity. Every inch of this classic has been carefully serviced, ensuring that its original C.C.A.S. Certified engine continues to roar to life as it was meant to. The car also boasts a set of 5 Kelsey-Hayes knock off wheels wrapped in brand-new gold-line radial tires, giving it a fresh, yet timeless look. Whether you’re looking to drive it, admire it, or simply revel in its remarkable history, this ’65 Corvette is ready to deliver an unforgettable experience. The car has just undergone an extensive drivetrain rebuild, including engine, transmission, clutch, and F.I. unit. The car has also won numerous awards, including two N.C.R.S. Top Flights and two President Awards from the Corvette/Chevy Expo.

As a Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum, we're proud to offer a modern approach to buying and selling Corvettes, backed by our unique and innovative business model. The 1963 model year holds a special place in the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts due to its distinctive split window design, a feature that was considered cutting-edge at the time. While it was short-lived due to limited rear visibility, Split Window Coupes have since become highly sought after, often becoming the centerpiece of collections worldwide. Today, we're excited to present a prime example of this iconic vintage: a Saddle Tan Coupe featuring the optional L76 327/340 engine, offering the highest horsepower rating for a carbureted engine. Paired with the original 4-speed manual transmission and boasting matching numbers, this car exudes authenticity and performance. While the engine has been correctly cast-dated for the year, please note that the VIN and suffix have been restamped, a practice approved by NCRS but which may result in a slight deduction in points. Nonetheless, this car achieved an impressive 95% score and received NCRS Top Flight certification in 2009. Restored approximately 15 years ago, this Coupe has been meticulously maintained and stored, ensuring its functionality and reliability.
