This 1967 Corvette Convertible 427/435HP was sold new on March 24th, 1967, from Hechler Motor Co. in Highland Springs, Virginia, to Charles from Richmond, Virginia. Charles ordered this Corvette with almost every option available in 1967, and as such, it is one of the highest-optioned L71 Corvettes produced. The options list includes: J50 power brakes, M21 Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission, 988 Marlboro Maroon Exterior, 420 Saddle Vinyl Interior, A01 Tinted Glass, U69 AM/FM Radio, C05 White Vinyl Convertible Top, C07 Auxiliary Hardtop, A31 Power Windows, N14 Side Dual Exhaust, N36 Telescopic Steering Wheel, N40 Power Steering, N89 15” Aluminum Wheels, K66 Transistor Ignition, P92 775x15 White Wall Tires, G81 Positraction Axle 3:70R, and L71 435HP V8 Turbojet. These options are documented by the car's original Protect-O-Plate and Tank Sticker (AKA Build Sheet). Charles would remain the caretaker of this Corvette from 1967 to 1983, when he sold the car to Murphy, also of Richmond, Virginia. After a short time of ownership, the car changed hands once again in 1984, this time to Ernie of Corpus Christi, Texas, (a prominent Corvette collector well-known for possessing some of the best examples of rare Corvettes). Ernie would take the L71 out on the national judging circuit, achieving two Bloomington Gold awards (1986 & 2000), and two NCRS Top Flight Awards (1/86 & 9/86). Under Ernie's ownership, this Corvette also had the honor of being featured as a centerfold car of Vette Vues Magazine in the June 1987 issue. The Corvette traded hands again in 2002, this time to Peter of St. Louis, Missouri. Peter owned this Corvette until 2005, when it was purchased by Leroy of Austin, Texas. Leroy then owned the car until 2008, when Charles of Ohio purchased it. The car was then purchased by Howard of Pennsylvania. Howard would take the car back out on the judging circuit in 2011, where the car achieved another NCRS Top Flight Award. With only 38,622 documented original miles since new, one (exceptional) re-paint, and a completely original interior, this is one of the best examples of a 1967 Corvette Convertible available today. Included in the sale are two binders of documents, including the original Protect-O-Plate and warranty book, original Tank Sticker, all original books, all NCRS Awards and judging sheets, Bloomington Gold Awards and judging sheets, previous state inspections, and various insurance cards and receipts.

1965 Coupe - 1965 L78 396/425HP 2X Top Flight

Rally Red with White Leather interior: L78 396/ 425HP / 4 Speed Manual - 69961 miles

This 1965 Corvette 396/425HP Coupe Finished In Rally Red with Red and White Leather Interior was Built on May 21st 1965 according to its NCRS Shipping Data Report. The Corvette was Sold New at Guaranty Chevrolet A Chevrolet Dealer Located in San Diego, California known for its high performance Corvettes and Muscle Cars Division. The first owner was a service man stationed in San Diego, California. This Corvette was ordered with performance in mind. Factory ordered options include Code 900UU Rally red Exterior, 444 White and Red Leather Trim, L78 396/425HP Engine, M20 4-Speed Manual Transmission, G81 Posi-traction Rear Axle with 4:56 Gear Ratio, N11 Offroad Service Exhaust System, K66 Transistorized Ignition, P91 Black Sidewall Tires. After the first owner had served his time in Service in California he returned home to Pennsylvania with the Corvette where he would soon trade the Corvette in at the world famous Don Yenko Chevrolet Located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The corvette would be sold and trade hands once more before a long stint in hibernation in the back of the owners machine shop. A NCRS judge Bill C had caught wind of the old corvette in 2002 and was able to convince the owner to sell him the corvette but once the deal was made and Bill returned to pick the corvette up the owner began to have sellers remorse and almost reneged on the deal but Bill was able to get the car secured in his trailer and on his way home. The corvette soon traded hands shortly after Bill had taken possession of the corvette this time the Corvette was off to Boonville, NY to Al Greenings garage where Al, (an NCRS and Bloomington Gold Judge who is Known for his Extensive Corvette Engine, Vin Tag ang Trim Tag Library and his Business CCAS (Classic Car Affirmation Service Where he provides a service to corvette owners of authenticating your corvette Originality including Engine Pad, Trim tag, and Vin plate Authenticity) would go over the Corvette with A fine tooth comb and confirm that this was in-fact the “REAL DEAL”. After Al's short ownership the car was purchased by Bruce in Indiana where Bruce would take the Corvette and prepare the car for Top Flight Judging in 2006 where he would receive an NCRS Top Flight Award. Bruce would go on to have the corvette as part of his collection of special Midyear corvette for another 16 years when he decided he was ready to let go of the corvette. This is when the current owner Joe Verrillo would purchase the corvette after hearing about the 396 through another corvette enthusiast. Upon receiving the corvette Joe had realized what he had was something very special. Retaining all of its original components including Engine, Transmission and Rear Axle in a special 1 of1 maybe 1 of 2 color combination, in unrestored condition with owner history and a story most cars just don't have. Joe decided he would take this Corvette around to national judging events because this corvette just had to be seen! In 2019 Joe and the team at Verrillo Motor Car Co. Prepared this corvette for NCRS Top Flight Judging in 2019 where Joe would achieve an NCRS Top Flight Award. With encouragement from some Top NCRS Judges and 396 Specialist at the judging event that day Joe Decided to take the car to the Bloomington gold Event in January of 2021 for Bloomington Gold OEM, Bloomington Gold Benchmark and Bloomington Gold Survivor Where this Corvette really shined on the judging field achieving all Three prestigious awards. Joe has decided it is time to pass this special corvette off to its new caretaker. There are many Corvettes on the market but to have the opportunity to own a car with not only the Current awards this car possesses but the incredible Owner History and Pedigree this Corvette has is an opportunity that only comes along every so often. Some Collector cars have history and a story that money just cant buy and sets them apart from the crowd. Included in the sale is the Original Owners protection plan booklet and Protect-o-Plate, Original Keys and all Owners manuals along with a binder of awards and Owner history research.

1964 Convertible - Grand Sport Tribute Roadster

White/Blue Stripe with Bright Blue Leather interior: LT1 / 5-speed Tremec - 0 miles

Thank you for stopping in to see this very impressive 1964 Grand Sport Tribute Roadster. It was custom built to resemble the famous Corvette Grand Sport race cars from that era specifically the George Wintersteen Grand Sport Roadster #002.

NOTE: Yes, the Corvette is in Canada. The owner reports there are no custom duties when shipped to the USA.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
This is an actual 1964 Corvette (middle tub) with an original VIN Tag.
The custom tubular frame resembles the original Grand Sport and was built by L&J Chassis to accommodate a Corvette C4 suspension, brakes, rack & pinion steering, and differential (Dana® 36 Positraction with 3.54 gears).

In the engine bay, there is a familiar LT1 engine (355 ci.) rated at 400HP. It was built by The Balancing Act and features a 4-bolt main; a 600 CFM Holley double pump carburetor, and an aluminum LT1 Intake with a Pertronix® ignition and distributor (tach drive).

The Griffin Alum Radiator with a 16” electric fan keeps the engine running cool.

Managing all that performance is a new Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission.

The stainless steel Block Hugger Headers are connected to the classic 2.5” side pipes. As you would expect, the C2 side exhaust has that familiar throaty sound.

Yes, there is power steering and power brakes.

There are more details to share with you. Just give me a call or send a message.

Don’t miss the opportunity to put this outstanding George Wintersteen Grand Sport Tribute Roadster #002 in your garage. It has never been tracked or raced and is a thrill to drive on country roads and highways.

INSPECTION and TRANSPORT: No matter where you live, delivery can be arranged anywhere worldwide at a reasonable cost. I am very experienced working with international Corvette enthusiasts and welcome all inquiries. Inspections by a qualified Corvette specialist can also be scheduled.

Saddle Tan with Saddle interior: 327 / 4-speed manual - 88944 miles

Welcome to THE VETTE NET - Your Go-To Corvette Brokerage Network, serving enthusiasts both nationwide and internationally since 1998. As a Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum, we're proud to offer a modern approach to buying and selling Corvettes, backed by our unique and innovative business model.

The 1963 model year holds a special place in the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts due to its distinctive split window design, a feature that was considered cutting-edge at the time. While it was short-lived due to limited rear visibility, Split Window Coupes have since become highly sought after, often becoming the centerpiece of collections worldwide.

Today, we're excited to present a prime example of this iconic vintage: a Saddle Tan Coupe featuring the optional L76 327/340 engine, offering the highest horsepower rating for a carbureted engine. Paired with the original 4-speed manual transmission and boasting matching numbers, this car exudes authenticity and performance. While the engine has been correctly cast-dated for the year, please note that the VIN and suffix have been restamped, a practice approved by NCRS but which may result in a slight deduction in points. Nonetheless, this car achieved an impressive 95% score and received NCRS Top Flight certification in 2009.

Restored approximately 15 years ago, this Coupe has been meticulously maintained and stored, ensuring its functionality and reliability. From its headlights to its gauges, everything is in working order, with a new set of tires ensuring smooth performance on the highway.
