As the first major redesign, introducing the 2nd generation of Corvettes (1963-1967, later called the "Mid-years"), it stunned the automotive world with a sleek redesign and enhance performance.  The claim to fame was the one-year only "Split-window" design, a feature that was later, in 1964, discontinued due to the limited rear visibility...  This made it a desirable model throughout the years and the cornerstone of many collections.

We are pleased to bring to your attention a very fine example of the era, a Split Window Coupe dressed in beautiful Saddle-Tan paint with the matching Beige interior, all correct according to the trim tag. Power comes from the original matching numbers 327 engine, rated at 250 HP, as proven by the correct VIN and RC suffix present on the engine pad. It is now taken care of by its second owner for the last 5 years and miles are documented and actual at 73K presently.

Seller states the all is original and correct. In the last five years, during his ownership, a thorough refreshing was done to the tune of over $15,000: White line Coker tires, gas tank, all new suspension and bushings, joints, suspension, rebuilt original carburetor, new clutch, new brakes, new SS exhaust, new crank vent windows, new tags, radiator flushed... Now, everything is in functioning order, including AM/FM radio, except the clock which was rebuilt, but still not showing time. Paint is in exquisite condition and has no blemishes or signs of wear... Interior is mostly original with exception of some carpet areas. We are pleased to offer a very fine example of this vintage, a Fuelie with matching numbers and completely restored.  The VIN and proper RF suffix (327/360) is present on the engine pad, also, the FI unit has the correct serial number for the year.  Just recently a high-end paint job was applied and everything looks and feel fresh and correct.   According to seller, a private collector in Arizona, a lot of effort was placed to make it right and in functioning order.  It was recently frame-off restored with $27,000 alone spent on the paint job.  Other recent work:

Ermine White with Saddle Leather interior: 327 / Manual - 68000 miles

Up for sale is my 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, showing 67k miles, older frame-off restoration, original 327/350 HP, numbers matching L79 engine w/ a 4-speed manual transmission. Car is equipped w/ Two Tops, power steering, power brakes and power antenna. Not sure where to start but this car is a well sorted midyear and A VERY neat find. If you want a car you DON'T HAVE TO WORK ON and one that is ready to go THIS IT IT. It is a very, very nice and correct example. All components, interior and exterior lights, blower motor, headlight buckets, gauges, windows, etc in proper working order. Must see the quality of this car inside, outside and underneath. Engine pad #s correct. Retains the original body VIN and trim tag codes. Build date code is G5, in St. Louis (Feb 5th, 1965) and a unique sequence of being the 9000th one built. Correct color trim code is Ermine White (900CC Paint) w/ Saddle Tan leather (421 Trim). The interior is exceptional. The body lines, door gaps, panel straightness and alignment excellent. Weatherstripping, chrome bumpers (no pitting on top or bottom), brightwork and glass in excellent shape. The radio works great and the headlights open and close w/ ease. I have a reproduced copy of the window sticker as well showing a sales price of $5338.95. Optioned with a Saddle Leather (421),  4-speed,  factory power brakes (J50), factory power steering (N40), both Ermine White Hardtop (C07) AND a never used White Softop (C05), Transistorized Ignition (K66), tinted glass (A01) and Am/Fm radio (U69). Also have owners manual, jack, lug wrench, correct mats and extra keys. Has basically new repro knockoffs and just installed new Goldline radials. Great idle and is tight and solid and just serviced. Car runs and drives excellent. This is a well preserved car and is an investment grade, no excuse example. Ready to go. Rare color combo and a highly sought after L79 motor. This is one of very few and these don't come up for sale very often and boy does it turn heads. Can help w/ locating an enclosed shipper for an out of town buyer as I have a great contact. Our offer today is an exquisite example of the first Sting Ray (two words), a beautiful Coupe dressed in Black and Red interior.  Car is virtually and literally perfect and it appears that no expense was spared for its restoration.  Engine is a, correct for the year, 327 originally rated at 340 HP, but now endowed with a correctly dated Fuel Injection unit.  According to the owner, a long time enthusiast, everything on the car was rebuilt and is in functioning order.  No other power options. Mileage show 75K which is believed original as there is documentation going back to the 80s.  The mechanical condition is also as expected, that is excellent as well, with all gauges and instruments in perfect working order, with the exception of the clock... of course.  History and numbers are available on demand.

1965 Coupe - Gorgeous 1965 Corvette Coupe

Silver Pearl QQ with Black interior: 327 ci / Powerglide - 118000 miles

1965 Corvette Sting Ray, numbers matching, 327ci/300hp, power brakes, power steering.  This has the original engine, powerglide transmission, rear end, master cylinder (very rare part – Only produced for 6 months), alternator, coolant tank, air cleaner, engine stainless, and a lot of the reproduction parts are date coded like the radiator and windshield.  

The 2nd owner had this car from 1968 until 2021 and kept every receipt, the classified ad from 1968 and his bank book showing the withdrawal to buy the car.  It was restored and painted in 1997, and a new fiberglass front end was installed with all the correct inner bonding strips.  The rear end has never been hit or had the fenders flared.  Everything works great on this car, and it’s always been kept in excellent condition.

In the last 2 years it has had a new battery, fuel pump, stainless steel fuel lines and fuel filter, and had the original master cylinder rebuilt.  
This Corvette was sold new in Lakewood, California has always been in California and had the same license plates.  The Harry Mann license plate frames are original, not reproduction.  This car has been always well taken care of and kept stock.  Includes car cover, restoration manuals, assembly book from GM, NCRS books, lots of old photos of the car, and 2 magazines with pictures of the car.
