Owned last 22 years  -  383 CI 425HP GM Crate Engine with Edelbrock mid rise manifold, Holley 750, MSD Electronic Ignition, distributor and wires, Hedman ceramic coated headers, Harrison Aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans, 2.5 " Stainless steel Dual exhaust, flowmaster mufflers, 10 position shock absorbers, TRW Fiberglass rear spring, newish Strange HD 3:70 rear end, New Zoom clutch / pressure plate / throwout bearing, CRAGAR SS wheels, new tires, Brand New  Al Knoch convertible top, New Al Knoch leather seats, interior completely restored / repainted , working radio and clock rebuilt by Tony Cerasin,  New Al Knoch carpet, seat belts, Teak Steering Wheel by Eric Freeman, dash / gauges Silk Screened by B&M Instruments, power steering added in 2024. Odomometer has not worked in 20 years; car gets driven 200 miles per year at most. Car was painted 30 ish years ago; door jams were not done. The frame has been restored ON the car, most suspension has been painted, and most front suspension has been nicely powder coated, and rebuilt with new rubber bushings. There are small paint defects bubbles on hood from 30 years ago, tiny hairline 1" raw fiberglass area on drivers side quarter panel that has been there for a long time. Other 99% of paint is amazing, hard and very glossy. This car is VERY fast and needs NOTHING except a new driver. Atlanta GA Area.

Thank you for stopping in to see this very impressive 1964 Grand Sport Tribute Roadster. It has never been tracked or raced and is a thrill to drive.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
This is an actual (properly titled) 1964 Corvette (middle tub) with an original VIN Tag. This Vette was custom built to resemble the famous Corvette Grand Sport race cars from that era specifically the George Wintersteen Grand Sport Roadster #002. 

Located in Welland, Ontario Canada, the owner reports “There are no customs duties to pay when shipping to the USA.”

The tubular frame resembles the one used for the original Grand Sport. It was built by L&J Chassis to accommodate a Corvette C4 suspension, power brakes, rack & pinion power steering, and differential (Dana® 36 Positraction with 3.54 gears).  

Under the hood there is the familiar LT1 engine (355 ci.) rated at 400HP. It was built by The Balancing Act and features:
– 4-bolt main  
– 600 CFM Holley double pump carburetor
– Aluminum LT1 Intake 
– Pertronix® ignition and distributor (tach drive)

The Griffin Alum Radiator, with a 16” electric fan, keeps the engine running cool.

Managing all that performance is a new Tremec® TKX 5-speed transmission.

This car's paint is good-vg, looking to be newer, with a great shine. Convertible top is in good condition, and all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Front chrome bumpers show a vg finish, with the rears showing a good condition finish. Taillights are vg, and exterior door handles are good-vg. Bolt-on wheels are vg-exc with vg-exc center caps, and Firestone FR380 radial tires with redlines show an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 8/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1967 shows good-vg glovebox lid, leather seats, and dash pods, vg door panels and carpet, and good condition steering wheel and GM seatbelts. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The numbers matching L79 engine in this car shows original casting date December 29, 1966, and final assembly date January 4, 1967.
