Up for sale is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, showing 60k miles, an older restoration but has been very well preserved since. The original 327/350 HP, numbers matching L79 engine runs like a top and is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 3:36 date coded and correct Positrac rear end. I have the original warranty book, original owners name and purchase date along with the protect-o-plate. Equipped with a newer white convertible top that has a perfect rear window and is clean and crisp. Not sure where to start but this car is a well sorted midyear and A VERY neat find. If you want a car you DON'T HAVE TO WORK ON and one that is ready to go THIS IS IT. It is a very nice high quality midyear. All components, interior and exterior lights, blower motor, headlight buckets, gauges, windows, etc in proper working order. Must see the quality of this paint in person to believe, it's stunning. Engine pad #s correct. Engine built June 5th, car's approximate birthday completion 6-14-67. Retains the original body VIN and trim tag. It is an A O Smith body and the 4216th convertible built there. Correct color on trim code was Sunfire yellow but car was restored and painted Marina Blue, a correct color for 1967. The Black interior is exceptional and very original. The body lines, door gaps, panel straightness and alignment excellent. Weatherstripping, chrome bumpers (no pitting on top or bottom), brightwork and glass in excellent shape. The radio works great and the headlights open and close w/ ease, the clock is intermittent and has a mind of its own. Also have owners manual, rare original protect-o-plate, warranty card, folding top instruction card, manual sleeve and radio card. Has basically new Redline radials and completely refurbished and restored correct rally wheels with trim rings and caps. Car has a great idle and it is tight and solid. A lot of suspension work has recently been done as well. The spare tire tub is installed and mint along w brand new exhaust. Was also just serviced and carb cleaned and tuned. Car runs and drives excellent. This is a well preserved car and thought to only have three owners w/ the second owner from 1971-2022. These don't come up for sale very often like this and boy does it turn heads. needle in a haystack 67. Thanks for looking.

1967 Coupe - 1967 RESTOMOD 427 Fuel Injection 5 Spd

Marina Blue with White & Blue interior: DART Fuel Inj 427 Big Inch SBC / 5 Speed Tremec Manual - 1710 miles

A proper “restomod” keeps the classic lines of an original car while fitting it with modern underpinnings, and this Marina Blue custom widebody Corvette is an excellent example of how we at Verrillo Motor Car envision the perfect restomod. Checking every box from reliability to comfort, this 1967 blurs the line between custom and modern, while never deviating from the original iconic look of a 1967 Corvette. This Corvette was built here at Verrillo Motor Car Company, under the direction of Joe Verrillo. If it weren't for the subtle widened body panels and the custom-built 18” Boze Polished wheels, a casual observer might even suspect it to be an original 1967 Big Block Corvette Coupe; that, however, could not be further from the truth. The body, finished in Code 976 Marina Blue with a white stinger hood, may look like a factory original Corvette going down the road, but as you look closer, you discover the body has been widened in both the front and the rear to accommodate larger 18” wheels and massive 295/35/18 (back) and 225/35/18 (front) tires. Closer inspection yields larger C6 Corvette Z06 6-Piston brakes out front, with 4 piston brakes out back. The chassis of this car is a Street Shop Chassis, one of the leaders in the Corvette restomod chassis industry, fitted with a C4 Corvette suspension and a Hammerhead Billet Aluminum Rear Axle with a 3:55 ratio, Detroit Speed Rack and Pinion steering rack, stainless steel brake and fuel lines, and a removable crossmember. This chassis was built with mandrel-bent rails and has been finished in gloss black to perfection. The driveline is a totally custom setup that performs perfectly with hand-picked components chosen to work in harmony with one another. A Dart Big Inch small block aluminum head small block was chosen for this application, topped with a Dart high-rise aluminum intake manifold, aluminum water pump, flow-tested aluminum cylinder heads (with Scorpion roller-tipped rocker arms), a high-lift camshaft and crowned with Fi Tech Mean Street fuel injection unit. This combination makes a staggering 590 horsepower, flowing through Hedman Side Exhaust headers and exiting via custom-built fiberglass packed chambered side exhaust mufflers that produce a heart-pounding exhaust note. With a single tap of the key, the car fires up, and its electronic fuel injection system wakes the beast, maintaining proper air to fuel ratios and keeping the engine running crisply.
With all this performance, we kept comfort in mind as well, adding Vintage Air air conditioning and a polished air compressor, ensuring a comfortable ride as you row through the gears of the Tremec 5-Speed TKO transmission. When you open the hood, you are greeted by a totally custom engine compartment with a smooth finished underhood displaying a white stinger that mirrors the one from the topside of the hood. A custom sheetmetal air cleaner (built To mimic the stinger hood), chrome plated hood latches and hood prop, chrome power brake booster and master cylinder, polished remote mount power steering reservoir, high-polished Dewitts big block aluminum radiator (with chrome dual electric cooling fan)s, ball-milled aluminum valve covers, billet aluminum engine pulleys and hoses neatly wrapped in aluminum coverings are all in display.
As you step inside this restomod, you will find one of the most elegant interiors ever installed in a Corvette, with white headrest seats, Bright Blue dash pads, a custom center console with cup holder, Teakwood steering wheel, Bright Blue shoulder seat belts, custom Bright Blue shift boot, coordinating blue carpets, a factory-appearing radio with a USB port and modern speaker, and power windows. This interior, much like the exterior, does not veer far off the original GM design, but has all the “right additions” to make it one of the most luxurious and well-appointed interiors ever installed in a Corvette.
This car is professionally built by a company that is nationally recognized for Corvette restoration. It is built with high attention to detail, using only the best parts available on the market. It is purpose-built to make even the most discerning Corvette enthusiast look twice to see what has been altered.

1967 Coupe - 1967 RALLY RED CORVETTE L71 COUPE

Rally Red with White/red interior: L71 / 4 Speed manual - 14411 miles

Rally Red w/White & Red interior, L71 427/435hp, 4-speed manual transmission.

For the choice few that had the wherewithal to buy a new 1967 Corvette back in the day, it’s doubtful most really knew the significance of their purchase. This was to be the final year of production for the second generation, or “mid-years”, as the ’63-’67 models were known. And as was often the case, the last of the line turned out to be the best! But truth be told, the 1967 Corvette as we know it, wasn’t even supposed to exist in the first place!

Anticipation was high for the arrival of the new third-generation Corvette Stingray aka the “Shark”. This new Corvette was originally due to be released as a 1967 model, but it wasn’t quite ready for prime time. So, the powers at GM decided that the mid-year bodied Corvette would continue for one more year. And because everyone was waiting for the new girl to arrive, many 1967’s languished in Chevrolet showrooms throughout the Country unsold. Who’d have thought!! The extra year enabled the boys at GM time to refine the C2 just enough to make what is considered the best mid-year, if not the best of the first three generation Corvettes ever built! Hindsight is indeed 20/20.

From Corvette Mike Vietro . . .” I have seen many Vettes over the 42 plus years I’ve been in this business, but this is one of the rarest 1967 L71’s I have ever had the pleasure to offer for sale. Pristinely preserved with only 14411 miles, this N.C.R.S. Top Flight Award winner still sports its original interior. Spectacular attention has been given to this L71 including a detailed engine compartment and chassis. It comes with a binder full of original docs and awards, including the Tank Sticker, Order Copy and Shipper. Even a copy of the original title for ’67!

1967 Convertible - 1967 RED CORVETTE L79 CONVERTIBLE

Red with White interior: L79 / 4-Speed Manual - 11495 miles

Red w/White interior, L79 327/350hp, 4-speed. manual transmission.

The ’67 was the last and considered by many to be the best of the mid-years! There were subtle changes made from the previous year. But they were enough to set the ’67 apart from the rest. The side gills were modified to a rectangular design, the backup light was changed to a center unit between the taillights, Rally and aluminum “Bolt on” style wheels were introduced, the parking brake was changed to a proper hand brake on the center console. And if big block power was your choice, there were no less than 5 different 427’s to choose from. Not to mention that legendary “Stinger” hood that came with it!

The very sharp ’67 featured here is a car that we sold the previous owner almost 30 years ago! When he purchased it, the car was painted in its original Sunfire Yellow color with Tuxedo (White/Black) interior and White soft top. But the decision was made back then to paint it Rally Red and replace the White interior and top with Black. When we re-purchased the car, we decided to leave the car Red, but put the interior and top back to its factory colors. So, that’s what we did! It now has a brand-new Tuxedo interior and White soft top! And we have to say, it looks fantastic!

Under the hood is a matching #’s L79 327/350hp small block, backed up with an M20 4-speed manual transmission. Other options include, AM/FM radio, side exhaust, and aluminum Bolt-on wheels wrapped in red line bias ply rubber. The car has just been serviced and is ready to go!

Documentation includes the owner’s kit and Tank Sticker and service receipts going back to the ’80’s!
