With over 60 years of production and eight design changes the Corvette has withstood the test of time. In 1953 the first Corvette rolled off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car in history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine Corvette rolled of the assembly line in 2020.
This 1999 Chevrolet Corvette is painted in Firethorn Red with a beige cloth convertible top. A black racing stripe running the length of the hood, rear spoiler, and chrome wheels add to this Vettes sporty good looks. The beige interior consists of leather seating and all the comfort features you would expect including air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power seats, dual climate control, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, anti-theft system, keyless entry, and a Bose AM/FM/cd radio. Painted in Pace Car Purple Metallic with yellow and red accents throughout. Powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 that was rated at 345 horsepower when new, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a T56 6-speed manual w/ self-adjusting hydraulic clutch. The interior of the Pace Car Pkg included upgraded Radio, Yellow accented leather seats with Pace Car embroidery throughout. Corvette-branded instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The car is equipped with the Active Handling Package, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 2003 Guldstrand Signature Edition 50th Anniversary Corvette. 2003 was a banner year for the Corvette. California based hot-rodder and World Renown Corvette turner; Dick Guldstrand decided to honor the 50th anniversary of the Corvette with a specially modified 2003 Corvette Z06. First, he started with a bespoke Katech 427 cubic inch LS1 V8 with forged internals, ported and polished Z06 heads, a custom camshaft and revised fuel and ECU tuning to allow for over 500hp. Guldstrand then installed a custom Flowmaster exhaust to ensure the bark is as nasty as the 7 liter small block's bite. Guldstrand has a legendary track record for road racing corvettes. So, he reached back on his wealth of knowledge and blessed this Z06 with upgraded road holding and handling. The Guldstrand tuning created a Corvette capable of 11 sec mile times and sub 4 second, 0-60s times. Finally, Guldstrand's crew splashed the body with a gold and with bule accents and custom gold, 18" and 19" staggered wheels. The interior is wild with complimentary tan and blue wrapped interior; leather and Alcantara is everywhere. There were only THREE of the cars produced, so exclusivity is a given. It's an amazing piece of corvette history. Add this modern classic to your collection, you won't be disappointed.
