When my son joined the Marines 20-yrs ago I created the "Spirit of America" Corvette dedicated to all our Military promoting our freedom to live the American Dream because of the dedication and sacrifice of our Veterans.
Complete frame off restoration just 1,200 miles ago. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, Tremec 5-speed and side exhaust. Al Knoch interior with leather seats and custom blue tooth sound system. Custom hand airbrushed paint and the car was featured at SEMA in Las Vegas.

The only reason I am selling this special Corvette is because I'm now 79 yrs old and want to spend more time with my wife. I hope someone or some institution can give it a proper new home.

Matching numbers 396/425 hp project corvette.  I have the original motor, transmission and rear end.  The motor has been rebuilt but is not in the car. Car has a big block hood on car now.   Frame has been restored.  Car is pretty much complete.  I have a title in my name.  

This wonderful car was a labor of love for my father and hopefully will go to someone who enjoyed it as much as he did. Please message me if you need additional details.

A few details:
The car has a complete frame off restoration.
The frame was power coated.
The drive train is all new.
The motor is a 383 stroker 4 bolt main.
The transmission is an automatic 4 speed built by Boe Tie Transmissions.
The drive train has no more than ten thousand miles.
The odometer has never been reversed before or after restoration.
Has a aftermarket air conditioning and 4 wheel disk brakes.
Equipped with MSD and Holley Snipper fuel injection.
The dashboard and inside were never changed except for the dash pad and some lights and wiring.

Thank you for stopping in to see this very impressive 1964 Grand Sport Tribute Roadster. It was custom built to resemble the famous Corvette Grand Sport race cars from that era specifically the George Wintersteen Grand Sport Roadster #002. 

NOTE: Yes, this Corvette is in Canada but the owner reports "There are no customs duties to pay when shipping to the USA."

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
This is an actual 1964 Corvette (middle tub) with an original VIN Tag. 
The custom tubular frame resembles the original Grand Sport and was built by L&J Chassis to accommodate a Corvette C4 suspension, brakes, rack & pinion steering, and differential (Dana® 36 Positraction with 3.54 gears).  

In the engine bay, there is a familiar LT1 engine (355 ci.) rated at 400HP. It was built by The Balancing Act and features a 4-bolt main;  a 600 CFM Holley double pump carburetor, and an aluminum LT1 Intake with a Pertronix® ignition and distributor (tach drive). 

The Griffin Alum Radiator with a 16° electric fan keeps the engine running cool.

Managing all that performance is a new Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission. 

The stainless steel Block Hugger Headers are connected to the classic 2.5" side pipes. As you would expect, the C2 side exhaust has that familiar throaty sound.

Yes, there is power steering and power brakes.

It sustained a thorough off-frame restoration with extraordinary attention to detail, virtually everything being addressed, looking and performing like new... Even the windshield wiper nipples and glove compartment liner were replaced with new parts.

Car came from the factory equipped with the optional L76, 327/365 engine according to usual tell tale signs like the 6500 Red line tachometer and 80 lbs Oil gauge, however, presently it features a period correct 327 engine with was rebuilt to 365 specs.  Cam, valves, block and heads were done at Jim Grubbs Motorsports of Valencia CA, one of the most reputable engine shops in the country. Headers and MFD ignition were added, along with a replacement knock-off wheels.   Everything on the car is in working order: headlight, gauges, instruments, horn, clock, etc.  It comes with the optional Hard top in excellent condition and no soft top.  Car was recently serviced, engine oil, filter, lubrication all done.
